This record contains the figures generated for a research paper that presents a supercomputer-based digital reconstruction of the RMS Titanic’s sinking. The figures illustrate the modelling framework, structural configurations, simulation setup, and key computational results obtained through advanced nonlinear finite element analysis (NLFEA) and computational fluid dynamics (CFD). These visual materials correspond to a manuscript that is scheduled to be published in a peer-reviewed journal.

The study reconstructs the sequence of events from iceberg impact and progressive flooding to large-scale structural failure and final hull-girder breakup. It also includes a counterfactual head-on collision scenario to explore whether the vessel might have remained afloat under alternative conditions. All visualizations were created from large-scale simulations executed on the high-performance computing facilities at University College London, using structural models informed by archival blueprints, wreck-site examinations, and historical testimonies.
