<p dir="ltr">This report outlines the work of the Eugenics Legacy Education Project (ELEP) between 2022-2025. It explores how University College London (UCL) can meaningfully engage with its historical ties to eugenics through curriculum development and staff support. During the project, the team:</p><ul><li>Facilitated conversations and consultations across faculties, creating space for staff and students to reflect on the legacy of eugenics and its ongoing impact. </li><li>Produced resources and guidance to support educators in embedding this history into their teaching in ethical, inclusive, and contextually relevant ways. </li><li>Highlighted the importance of visibility, framing silence and inaction as forms of “disrepair” and advocating for sustained, reparative engagement. </li><li>Contributed to a broader institutional conversation about UCL’s identity, values, and future - particularly as the university approaches its bicentenary.</li></ul><p></p>
