This collection brings together the conference programme and posters presented at the UCL Open Science and Scholarship conference 2024. This was an internally focused event aiming to showcase the dynamic landscape of Open Science at UCL and explore its practical applications across scholarship and research domains, including Open Access Publishing, Open Data and Software, Transparency, Reproducibility, Open Educational Resources, Citizen Science, Co-Production, Public Engagement, and other open practices and methodologies.

This marks our fourth annual conference, part of our ongoing efforts to shape a more
open, transparent, and collaborative academic environment at UCL. Through advocacy,
leadership, training, activities, and support resources, we aim to empower UCL
members to embrace open practices effectively, thereby amplifying the impact of
scientific and scholarly work.

The UCL Office for Open Science and Scholarship (OOSS) is a dedicated unit fostering
open practices and approaches across the UCL community. Since its formation in 2020,
we have been committed to promoting openness, accessibility, transparency, and
collaboration in research and education.
